Product Description A-frame crane is kind of special lifting equipment, which is different from the normal slewing cranes, for it's operating and turning in the vertical plane, obtaining features such as high SWL, wide usage range etc. It's widely used inscience research ship, marine research ship, and engineering ship, serving as main supporting device for them. Deneral Drawing There are 2 ways for its operating requirements and installation position. Shipstern A-frame Crane: it's mainly used for handling ROV, cable connection and deep tow. Futher more, it can be used for lifting steel structure and offshore installation. Shipboard A-frame Crane: it's used for geological sampling from seabed. Shipboard A-frame Crane consists of 2 parts: A-frame structure and special winch, the latter can be customized according to operation requirements. Usually telescopic A-frame structure with adaptable height is equipped on Shipboard A-frame Crane for seabed geological sampling. Turning movement of Telescopic shipboard A-frame(outward ship or inby) can be done by luffing cylinder, while telescopic movement of crane can be achived through telescopic cylinder, for that, special oil pump unit needed. On A-frame structure have installed many kinds of assistant devices such as assistant winch, winch drum and guide pulley.
When Shipboard A-frame Crane works forSeabed Geological Sampling along with geological winch, sampling will be lifted to cabin directly. The working process as following: 1.For restriction of door frame of cabin, Shipboard A-frame Crane can only lift sampling into cabin under low position, its telescopic system can adapt its height. 2.A-frame crane will be stretched to max position to meet demand of larger working radius, when it works for seabed geological sampling. 3.A-frame crane will be drawback to minumum position to get through doorframe of cabin, when it handles geological samples into cabin. 4.After then, A-frame crane will be stretched to proper position to settle samples in right place.
Shipboard A-frame Crane is mainly used for seabed geological sampling, which works along with CTD winch, cable arrangement,high-intense guide pulley devices, tow winch and gravity sampling devices.
